In the 9 years journey of Timelenders, we have facilitated thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations with the concepts and structures that we have developed for a meaningful existence!

During this journey, we have encountered a profound quest in people for developing clear purposes and visions in their lives. A lot is being done in this area, but Timelenders’ distinction has been in developing a visions’ framework which is not only easy to understand and apply, but also based on a sound foundation that is not found elsewhere. Thousands of people are applying the framework in their lives today and continuously moving forward in making their lives meaningful both at home and at work.

In our Strategic Visions’ workshop we introduce this framework in detail. On the request of our participants to have Timelenders’ facilitate them in the actual development of their visions, we launched the Vision Retreat 5 years ago: a residential program in which we help the participants begin the process of writing the visions of their lives.

Last year, we conducted our first international retreat in Malaysia. After its success we are again launching our retreat in Malaysia in September and would like to encourage you to join.

Why the visioning process? Highly successful people always create, review and work with long-term worthy visions in life. The purpose of creating long-term visions is to know what you want for your personal and work life and anchoring your worthwhile goals and day to day prioritization on to this. Your long term vision is the picture of the future for your personal or professional life. Your long term vision is derived from your ‘ultimate purpose’ which answers the question as to why you exist? The foundation of the framework is based upon a sound ideology which is defined as your governing beliefs and principles. Articulating all of the above and then attempting to live according to it is what creates a rich, fulfilling and meaningful life!

Can you envision what you want your life to be 50, 25, 10, 5 years down the road?
How are you faring in your relationships?
Where do you want to see your spouse, children and parents in the future?

In the vision retreat, we facilitate you to start comprehensively envisioning all spheres of your life.

We take one of your roles in the retreat and help you work through it step by step. This sets up the blueprint for you to start working on your other roles.

We facilitate you in the following steps:

• Understanding what is a sound ideology and the evidence behind it
• Determining your ultimate purpose in life
• Listing down your mandated and elective roles
• Selecting at least one critical role to work on
• Writing your Ultimate Subvision (USV) in that role
• Writing the corresponding Purpose of the Vision (POV)
• Breaking down of USV into Intermediate Visions (IVs) of 50 year, 25 year, 10 year, 5 year, current year and current month
• The process of regularly reviewing and refining your IVs
• An action plan for your life for the next 6 months

Now, after doing the visioning process in one of your roles, you are very much on the path as you are now in a position to replicate the whole process in other roles of your life. Timelenders will give you a follow up deadline, and you ought to submit your documents to your facilitator by the decided deadline. Your facilitators will continue to guide and advise you on your working.

Yes, you’re right! It’s a tedious job, but we do not have a short cut. If you want to live your life by design and not by default, go for it.
